Miss Adelloyd Whiting:—

It gives me pleasure to inform you that at a meeting of Nebraska
Alpha of Phi Beta Kappa, held May 24, you were elected to membership on ac-
count of high scholarship in University work.

You will become a member by presenting yourself for initiation
on June 6, at twelve o'clock in the parlors of the Lindell Hotel, and by
payment to Treasure Davis of the initiation fee of five dollars.

Tickets for the oration by President Slocum at 10:45 on the morn-
ing of June 6, may be secured by presenting this letter at the executive of-
fice. A ticket for the banquet which will follow the initiation is enclosed.

Kindly notify me by letter whether it is your intention to ac-
cept this membership.
