The Greek community at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is one of the countries largest in terms of numbers of chapters with fifty. While this number is staggering, it used to be higher. Here is a look at some of the chapter's that we have lost over the last 130 years.

• Kappa Sigma- Alpha Psi chapter closed in the late 1990's


• Sigma Alpha Mu- the campuses first Jewish fraternity, Sigma Omicron chapter closed in the 1980s
