ACCEPT ROCKEFELLER'S MONEY
Friends of Nebraska University Overcome Opposition and Raise Conditional Fund
LINCOLN, Neb., March 26. The friends of the University of Nebraska have raised the third of one hundred thousand dollars which John D. Rockefeller said must be a condition under which he would give the other two-thirds for a university temple.
The proposed gift has been opposed by many Nebraskans who did not want to accept Rockefeller's money and the matter threatened to become a campaign issue. The temple will be built soon on the university campus.
