Page Content: History of the UNL Science Departments Project Editor: Susannah Hall, UCARE, 2008 This project is by no means comprehensive, but instead focused on gathering together information from the archives into more accessible form. For each program there is a list of the teaching and researching faculty, and a timeline. In addition, in each program several important stories from the collections, mostly from the first fifty years of the University's existence, have been described with selected pieces scanned from the collections. For further information, I suggest viewing the departments' websites, where several histories have been compiled by faculty members in the departments.
