Khewa in Camp as The Savant bal The Boy Scout

ae As a warning to other explorers, I give herewith photographs of Dr.
Yoleott and myself, to show the awful effects of a day in the bad lends.

We were both good-looking when we left camp that morning.

I am trusting to the many photogravhs which I took in the bad lands
to cover a multitude of omissions in this secount, since ea victure covers

the subject more adequately than any number of words. I have also lumped
together the photogranhs taken. and the observations made on our several

trivs to this region, except that the photogravhs taken in August will
anneer by themselves. |
