description
Typewritten letter, 1 page, from Frank H. Shoemaker to Robert H. Wolcott, "I reached home Monday, via Portland and Salt Lake City."
transcription
Omaha, Neb., May 10, 1906.

Dear Wolcott:

I reached home Monday, via Portland and Salt Lake City. Found
your letter awaiting me. I am glad the court-martial was so lenient.

I have not time for a letter now, but I wish you would send
500 No. 1 and 500 No. 2 japanned pins with blonde summits to Mr.
Charles Fuchs, 2322 Bank Street, Alameda. The poor old chap lost
everything in the fire, excepting his 22 boxes of genera, but he
is as enthusiastic as ever, and requested me to send him some
pins. I find my own stock so low that they would not make a
starter for him. Better send me a similar lot, if you can spare
them, with bill for the entire 2000.
o
Got a pair of C. aud^uinii for you at Portland, and some other
things. Will write you a letter in a short time. Elizabeth is
in bed with an attack of inflammatory rheumatism, so I guess our
trip to the Salt Basin will be impossible. She is getting along
as well as could be expected.

With best wishes, I remain

Your friend,
