claybank next door and from its south face plucked two typical specimens of _limbalis_,
in full possession of their power of flight. How does that suit you?
With regard to the omissions from the list of members which I left with you, I
thought I explained that this was simply a list of the _letters_ which I sent out, and
as those who had paid were not addressed on the subject, their names were omitted.
This explanation covers Swenk, Tout, Dickinson, Wallace, and Miss Caldwell, whom
you name; Jones, whom you also mention, is on the list, with the information that I
got his little old $2 on December 9, 1905. As you did not desire the list for an official
purpose, as I understood the matter, I had no hesitancy about leaving it with you, as
I thought it was so nearly complete that it would fill your want.
I'll promise not to bother you again about the Eleodes, only I should like to know
when they are sent, in order that I may know when I go to San Francisco whether Dr. B.
and I are to be friends, or whether I am to be ate.
I return your photo labels, as requested. Hoping to hear from you soon, to the
effect that Allen and Emily are all right again, I remain
Geoponically,
