MOORE'S HEARING POSTPONED.
Attorneys Too Busy to Take It Up for the Present.
Eugene Moore's hearing did not come off in district court yesterday. Judge J. B. Barnes, who is one of Moore's attorneys, was busy with the Dorsey case in federal court, and could not be present. The hearing was postponed till Friday, November 12, at 2 o'clock p.m. "It will come off then," says County Attorney Munger, "even if no one is ready."
Mrs. Henrietta Adler in an answer filed

Well, taking everything into consideration, the result of the election in this state was the "blow to bimetallism" that Mr. Bryan was talking about last week. It must be conceded all along the line that if it had not been for one Joe Bartley and one Eugene Moore, who unfortunately happened to be republicans, the republicans would have swept the state. As the case stands they will nearly elect one regent and greatly reduce the average majority gained by the fusion ticket last year. Under the circumstances, this makes the republicans quite cheerful. It means that with a strong ticket they will carry the state next year against all possible opposition. The growth of the republican party in Nebraska in the last five years in the face of discouraging surroundings has been one of the marvels of recent politial history.
