[?] of N.Y. City, Senator Paddock, and Geo M. Pullman have all died suddenly.
Burglars are very active now. They are tring nearly every other house. Two masked men asked Mrs. Mayeis down at this first drug store to let them in. She thought it was some one for medicine and let them in the both had loaded revolvers and made her hand over everything they wanted. She sleeps back of her store.
I have [?] things here that may be of interest to you.
This is wash evening and I must close.
