One gentleman remarked that if he were given six years he would not join. Others insisted that they preferred to stay where they were.
The section referring to the payment of the Grace pastor's salary until April 1, 1898 was taken as an insult as one or two members stated, it convinced them their pastor was not considered good enough for the other organization. Every section with the exception of thm ltafl that wah mahm hamhm hmh the sixth, which was changed, was tabled. Then the whole report was dissapproved and the report of the committee rejected.
The congregation reaffirmed their action of January 25, when they claimed the action of the board of control was concurred in by them.
