I think she sees lots of money in me and is going to hang on to me just as long as she can. I am gradually sliding out of her clutches. I am sorry to write this about her. [?] it seems to me she wants to make all she can out of me.
I see by the paper that Mrs. Gahrung has sold her property on G. Street. I suppose she will eke out an [?] on the income.
I was out riding with the Morres lately. Mrs Phinney took us out riding lately too.
Well I must close now. Hope you will write a few more letters before next April. Yours lovingly.
