P.S. — I forgot to tell you that we had some company to tea last night.

Laura Burt has come back home with the Taylor children and will stay with them until their aunt Alice can come back. So I wanted her and the children out and Miss Ballerine, a former Prescott school teacher is [?] Miss Libraou, and Seba wanted to ask them, so we had the six of them including the children. I set the old table on the side porch for the children and they did have fun. Frido, the cat & chickens [?] for every crumb & bone.

I had for supper light biscuit and butter, scalloped potatoes, spring chicken fried, [?] grape jelly (I made about five quarts of it) cucumber cabbage salad, coffee, ice cream with peaches, and marble and angels cake.

I am going to make apple jelly out of the apples lying around our yard tomorrow. Have [?] milk of Hairley's. I am
