THE PLYMOUTH NOTES.
Those who wish to unite with the church will please meet with the pastor and deacons after the service next Thursday evening.
The Christian Endeavor consecration meeting on Sunday evening, Aug. 29, will begin at eight o'clock for the convenience of the Rokeby society which will meet with ours. A large attendance is expected.
Miss Churchill, Miss Barnaby, and perhaps Miss Reynolds will again be members of onr choir, beginning Sept. 5. We believe that the choir will do better work than ever before, and will aid much in the worship of our services.
Delay in completing the canvass and collection of subscriptions toward our church debt has been casued by the impossibility of making a trausfer of the mortgage to the C. C. B. Society until a decree is granted by the court, which does not sit until Sept. 20.
Mrs. Lucinda B. Penniman, mother of Mrs. B. P. Cook, died on August 19. Her life of devoted service for others covered more than four score years; Our sympathy is extended to the family in their sorrow.
Sunday, Sept. 5, will be "Rally Day" all along the line for Plymouth church. Why not make it a red letter day in attendance upon our services and in earnestness of spirit? If we talk about it to one another and invite our friends to worship with us we can gain an impulse which shall be felt for many months.
JUDGEMENT
