THE PLYMOUTH NOTES.
Plymouth Church, Financial Statement.
Lincoln Neb., Aug. 20, 1897.
Since May 1 there have been very considerable changes in our financial condition. Interest has accrued and incidental expenses have not been met.
Your committee, therefore presnts the following statement showing our total liabilities to October 1. 1897, and the provisions thus far made to meet them.
LIABILITIES:
The Gregory note, $6,000.00
Interest to Oct. 1, $840.
and $175. 1,015.00
Paving tax to October 1, 392.80
Insurance, running for 3 years 120.00
The Webber note, unpaid balance 64.34
Interest to October 1, 33.50
Salaries due and unpaid August 15, 337.50
Salaries to October 1, 150.00
Gas to Oct. 1, estimated, 20.00
Music to Oct. 1, est'm'td, 8.00
$8,141.14
PLEDGES:
The C.C.B. Society grant, $1,000.00

The C.C.B. Society loan with interest 4,000.00
Individuals 2,073.50
7,073.50
Balance unprovided for, $1,067.64
To make the $5,000 of the Cong. Church Building Society available the balance of the first four items of liabilities, or $2,528 must be met by the church. The remaining items, or $613 must be met to make $650 of individual pledges available. Every dollar paid to the Treasurer, except "benevolences" will be used for this purpose. It is evident, 1, That every member of the church should be represented in this effort. 2. That the weekly offerings should be large enough to meet incidental expense. 3. That all subscriptions should be paid promptly, before September 10. These things cannot be done without serious sacrifice on the part of all.
Friends outside our membership have given nearly $800. Have you done all you can?
