With the aid of a glass we

eontained one or possibly two eggs. Our
time was short and we did not climb the
tree, and unfortunately did not visit it
again. The more characteristic location,
however, for nests of this species is on
ledges. The photographs on page 19 show

on this page show the same nest, taken
‘from the top of a pine growing near the
pase of the bluff.
