Letter, Unknown (likely Frank H. Shoemaker) to Robert Wolcott, 1906, Aug. 20
August 20, 1906
Omaha, Aug. 20, 1906.
Dear Wolcott:
Acknowledging receipt of various communifactions from youse since
any addressed to youse:
We have just about finished the work on the "Manual of Munson Phono-
graphy", and in the course of a few days will be able to fetch a long
breath or two apiece. Upp to that time we are living on compressed air.
I haven't seen a real tagger for two months, not counting C. punk--
(so called becors he is no earthly good) which was abroad in swarms
under electric lights Friday night. I haven't even looked over the
specimens I have, or thought about getting any others.
I am again getting out letters to delinquent members of the N.O.U.
Please advise me as follows:
(1) What is status of Lincoln members? You will remember that I
sent you notice addressed to each, with stamped envelopes, some
months ago.
(2) Were any dues collected at time of last meeting? Swenk will
know about this. If a memo of dues collected at that time was
furnished me I have mislaid it.
(3) What are present plans for publication?
Will write you fully within a short time. When are you coming up?
Vy ty ys,

CORRESPONDENCE HERE
Dear Frank,
Am being pretty
lazy - collecting is very poor,
so have taken to fishing, and
havent many critters so far.
But the camp life is proving
a fine thing for us all and we
are having a true time. Regards
to all, R. H. Wolcott
