Omaha, November 11, 1904.

My dear Wolcott:

Yours of the 25th ultimo was duly received, and I am sorry
to have so long neglected reply to it.  I enclose 50¢ coin in
payment for the pins which Prof. Bruner kindly furnished, and
will be glad to have you hand it to him with my thanks and my
apology for the delay.

As usual, we have been at it hot and heavy, and have not
found much time for recreation.  The past two Sundays Miss V.
and I got out and enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air, but to tell
the truth, I find little to interest me at this season of the
year, when everything is dying or hunting a hole.

You will be interested to know that I found C. splendida
still doing business on the claybank on November 6th - eating
ants!

I leave for San Francisco Monday, and shall try to meet
H. R. Taylor, also the two leading San Francisco Cicindelidae
artists; do not remember their names.

Met Dr. Ward at lunch one day this week.    Your list of
sparrows is amazing.    Very much pleased with Nebraska List.
Kind regards to all.

Your friend,
