Cannot you come down next Sunday or week after and talk
over plans? I shall not be able to be in Omaha.
I did not send Proceedings because I feared it would be too
much of a tax on your time. But am hoping you can call on a
few people there for us.
Saturday Prof. Bruner and Dr. Lowery took in Lake and Oak Cr.
and got a list of 78 species; Swenk and I, Salt Creek to Waverly
and listed 76; Bates and Baird south, only saw about 50. All
combined made a list for the day of 105.
But I hope to see you next Saturday -
With regards & best wishes -

My dear Shoemaker,
Your letter just here -
I talked the matter over thoroughly with
Ward last night. I must go between May
27 and June 11. Summer session begins
on June 12 and I must be here on the 11th,
as I shall have charge of the department,
Ward going away.
Hope you can change date -
Yours, Wolcott
