 I enclose money order for $3.55, to be applied as follows:


      Membership fee [?]      -    -    -    -  $1.00 
     Publications            -    -    -    -            1.50 
     7 copies Proc. N. O. U.  -    -    -         1.05 

If you have not already arranged for shipment of my copperplates
better let it go for the time; I will probably be down again during
spring, and have no present use for them.

Have not commenced to get over the enjoyment of my Lincoln trip.
There is not a particular in which I would have had the program varied.

My dear Shoemaker:-

I enclese receipts for the money sent. I am bery glad indeed
to know of your safe return Since when you got on the car here I had
some doubts as to whether you would make yaur train.
I am sure the enjoyment yau derived from your trip here could not
have been greater than that we felt in having you with us. I am already
looking forward to another visit from you later in the spring when I
shall be sure to have all sorts of good subjects "on tap" for your edifi-
cation.
I am expedting to make use of your slides this evening in giving
a talk on birds before the Young People's Society of the Methodist
                                                                                                                    u
church and yuu are too far away to prevent my throwing a bo^quet this
 time if I wish.
 With very cordial regards to Miss Van Zant and Mr. Van Zant as well
as yourself
