You will readily understand by following the enclosed itinerary carefully why there has been no time for a chronicle. What little time there may have been left unaccounted for here & there has been spent packing & re-packing. I am eager to tell all about our delightful visit at Cambridge & the varied and increasing pleasures of the

excursion, but I am getting sleepier every day, & can only tumble into bed at the earliest possible moment & out again at the latest: it seems to accumulate. I still have faint hopes of being able to catch up before it is too late.

Please take good care of the program & see that it reaches its ultimate destination in time.

It has been extremely warm here; the thermometer registered 95° in the shade in London today. Fortunately it was the day for the auto ride & we suffered only when

walking. I enclose the map for the trip to-day.

10:30 p.m; packing all done -but so sleepy.
