Your’s of Aug., 9 recieved and in reply will say I would be very glad to take up the work with the University band. My engagement here ends Sept., 7. so will be in Lincoln in time for the opening of college year. Please except my thanks for remembering me, and if I recieve appointment, will do my best to give the University a fine Military band
