Original caption: "Saigon - Bombs Destroy Pol Area - Dark orange fireballs sent black smoke rising to 5,000 feet following a strike by Air Force F-105 Thunderchief pilots from the the 388th Tactical Fighter Wing Oct. 7 on the Cu Van petroleum, oils and lubricants storage area, 43 miles north of Hanoi. The storage area, which was located on the side of the hill was destroyed." Aerial photograph of a bombing in a rural hilly area.
