Original caption: "Saigon - Bombs Destroy Pol Area - Dark orange fireballs sent black smoke rising to 5,000 feet following a strike by Air Force F-105 Thunderchief pilots from the the 388th Tactical Fighter Wing Oct. 7 on the Cu Van petroleum, oils and lubricants storage area, 43 miles north of Hanoi.
