Description
-
Original caption: "Up and Away - Combat tents bound for Marines are lifted from #1 hold of S.S. Sir John Franklin to awaiting landing craft which shuttle the vital cargo to the piers within the city of Da Nang." A large wooden crate is lifted from the hold of a Navy ship onto the deck. Two sailors look on. It appears the crate is being lifted be a crane or some other machinery.
