Original caption: "Plots - A crewmember of the gunboat USS Gallup plots the course to intercept a Vietnamese junk on one of the ship's Operation Market Time patrols. The Gallup arrived in Vietnam Apr. 27, 1967 as a unit of Market Time. The new, high-speed gunboat patrols along the 1,000 mile coastline of South Vietnam to prevent the infiltration of enemy men, arms and supplies to the Viet Cong ashore in South Vietnam."
