Original caption: "Operation 'Malheur II' - Paratroopers of the U.S. Army's 1st Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, shoot and scoot across the open field near Duc Pho in southern Quang Ngai Province, as enemy troops hidden in the tree line snipe at the advancing infantryman. The 'Screaming Eagles' of the 101st are one of three U.S. Army brigades operating in the northern provinces as part of Task Force 'Oregon.' The airborne unit's sweep has been named Operation 'Malheur II.'" American soldiers run through a field away from the camera.
