Dear Miss Hrbkova,

I have received from the assembled delegates of the Bohemian Council of Higher Education (sic) grertings expressing the appreciation of the Bohemian people of the work done in your department.

Will you please express to the officers of the organization our appreciation of their very pleasant greetings, and our hope and expectation that the department will continue to flourish and to fill a place of constantly increasing importance in the education of our young people of Bohemian descent, and of any others interested in the language of this people which has contributed so much to the civilization of Europe and America.
