The following question was adopted for two weeks: "Resolved that the standing army of the U.S. should be increased. A com. consisting of Frost, Breech, French was appointed to investigate the legality of bill of Ed. A. Church & co. By motion of Society proceded to consider the resignations of those members withdrawing last Friday night, and voted to accept them; also that of Miss Frankforter. The following were elected to fill vacancies on contest class:
