Moved and seconded that recess be limited to five minutes.

Business meeting called to order by the President. The following question was adopted for debate in two weeks: Should the government assume control of R.Rs. It was moved & carried that sec. draw an order on the treasurer for four dollars ($4) in favor of Mr. Hiatt for care of Hall for Sept. and Oct. Com. on window curtain reported job done at an expense of twenty five cents (.25). The report was accepted, and the Sec. was instructed to draw an order on Treasurer for the amount.
Mr. Killen called up the Amendments proposed last week and moved their adoption they were: 1st to insert after the word Society in line two of Sec. I,
