Society. Its principles became dear to all
members. The bond of sympathy in-
creased. All were seized with an Alex-
andrian spirit of conquest, and up to the
time I left the institution, the Palladians
never lost a fight in which they entered,
or took a step backwards. Whether ov-
er the Hesperian management, a fight
against members of the faculty, or any-
where else, the Palladian colors always
waved triumphant over the last ramparts
assulted.
