Vice Pres. called the Society to order the performances for the evening were:

Instrumental Duet   Misses Larch & Gustin
Essay   Mr. Hamilton
Oration   S.D. Killen
Recitation   Miss Mockett

Debate—Question: Resolved that the Gov. should assume control of the R.R's.

Aff. J.E. Larkin
Neg. W.T. Jackson
Recess.

The following question was adopted for debate Nov. 28th: Resolved that the House of Lords should be abolished.

R.S. Mockett made a com of one on Church matter with power to take final action. Voted that the society begin at 8 P.M. sharp.

Moved to proceed to fill all vacancies in officer, except Pres. Adopted. Following were elected:

Ast. "   W.F. Wiggins
Critic   J.H. Holmes
Scr. At. Arms   C.M. French

Mr. Wiggins appointed chairman of Music com. with the power to chose assistants. The following names were propoed for act. membership: Messrs Riley, Gustin, Clark, and Misses Baker & Bickel elected Act. Mem.
