Art. II the following clause: Who is not a member of a secret college fraternity; also 2nd to add the following to Sec. II Art. II; And it is further provided that any member who joins a secret college fraternity loses his active membership in this Society This clause shall not affect those who are members of a secret college fraternity at the time of its adoption The yeas and nays were called, and the amendment was adopted. Three voting in negative withdrew from active membership, also Miss Myers the following withdrew from honorary membership: Ed. Mockett, Misses Codding, Millar, & Stillman.
In consequence of the resignation of President, the Vice Pres. called Mr. Frost to the chair. Mr. Mockett was appointed sec. for the evening. The consideration of the resignation was indefinitely postponed, But resignations as officers of society were accepted. Mr. Frost was appointed Sec. for next week. The following candidates were elected to active membership: Messrs Shannon, Tingley, Hearn, Pound, and Holmes. Adjournment.
