Left Page:
Give up anger; give up pride, and free yourself from worldly bondage. No sorrow can befall those who never try to possess people and things as their own.
Those who hold back rising anger like a rolling chariot are real characters. Others merely hold the reins.
Conquer anger through gentleness, unkindness through kindness, greed through generosity, and falsehood through truth. Be not deceitful nor trick the other. Give even, even if you have but little. The good will bless you.
What?
Forgiveness
Patience
Acceptance
Recognition

The Brahmin
Came the river heavenly.
Came the river heavenly.
Go beyond the world of fragments,
And know the dewdrop ground of life.
Came the river heavenly.
Came the river heavenly.
Conquer all your passions,
Go beyond your aims and dislikes.
And all your fears.
Who is a true brahmin?
Who is a true brahmin?
Who has no aims and dislikes,
And is free from the chains of fear.
Who is a true brahmin?
Who is a true brahmin?
Who has trained his mind to be still,
And reached the supreme goal of life.
The warrior shines in battle.
In the midst of the world,
The warrior shines in battle.
But day and night, the brahmin,
In advance of love for all.
The warrior shines in battle.
In the midst of the world,
The warrior shines in battle.
But day and night, the brahmin,
In advance of love for all.
Of what use is matted hair?
Of what use is matted hair?
Of what use is matted hair?
On which to sit in meditation.
If your mind is seething with lust,
If your mind is seething with lust,
If your mind is seething with lust,
Not matted hair nor birth
Makes a man a brahmin.
Walk in the footsteps
Of the Buddha. Light your torch too
For the sake of all.
Not matted hair nor birth
Makes a man a brahmin.
Walk in the footsteps
Of the Buddha. Light your torch too
For the sake of all. - Rights
