Mom—Alice Asche Blessen would be celebrating her 116th Birthday. Three she is at right. Lowering over her best friend Lucille Andt holding two pairs of new high heeled spectacles. They were on a shopping trip in Omaha. This was before marriage. So she and Lyn were in the late 30s or early 40s. A man on the street photographed them. She kept the photo and Mom loved it.
