Description
The image shows an open journal with handwritten text and two photographs. The left page of the journal has text written in both black and blue ink. The top of the left page features handwritten text with a circled '9' in red ink. Below this, larger blue text reads “NOW- ONE WEEK LATER." A photo is attached to the bottom half of the left page depicting a small bedroom corner. It shows two pet beds, one large and one small, with a cat curled up in the smaller bed.

The right page contains a mix of handwriting in black ink and a color photograph of a woman smiling, wearing a black tank top and a patterned skirt. The text appears to talk about recent events and personal reflections, with references to people and pets.

At the back of both pages, colored tabs in different shades can be seen protruding from the journal, marking different sections.

Left Page:

"9 Life is short and can end abruptly. I knew of this of course, but this was an "in-your-face" reminder.

Now - One Week Later
No hints at all of Vertigo. Thank God. I am grateful."

Right Page:

"March 27, 2022.
Life did end abruptly 2 days ago for Nancy Martin Keen. Stunning news. NMK was in her early 40's I'd guess. Married to Jacon. Two sons. A beauty & a beautiful spirit. I don't know what happened.
I set up kitty hospice in our bedroom. Our sweet P.Nut + Sparky are 22. They lived more than 9 lives - rallying after setbacks, small + life threatening. This time we are near the end though. P.Nut drags her bak legs. Neither eat more than a few licks of food. Dr. Roark is coming next Saturday, but they may not last til then. They were litter mates - sister + brother. They may go out together too. So many losses. For us. For so many."
