"being wheeled into an untidy high school science room.
And I have to remind myself to what most people think/feel/remember when they've walked past my leaning, musty, garage, past our chain link fence, to my dusty studio?
Or past our unkempt laundry room, the litter boxes?
These impressions are (unintelligble) + probably not positive.
So where does that leave us all? Imperfect people. In imperfect situations. Aiming to be kind whatever the picture.
Expecting commitment + caring + compassion - and not always being/giving or receiving it. But TRYING."

Right Page:

"Back to the MRI.
I fall into the mantram, which carries me through 30 minutes that sound like a nail gun a foot away from my ears. Rediculous sounds, and I do wonder, REALLY?
This is the best we can expect from 21st century medical equipment?
I think back to my back to back experiences five years ago in San Miguel, Queretaro and then Baylor Dallas.
The doctors, nurses & facilities in Mexico were sharp, professional. They did 2 days of testing my heart + lungs for a pulmonary embulism. All ok, but Dr. Dimmit wanted to do a few more tests back here at Baylor.
Mexican docs - professional/sharp.
Baylor technitions + equipment - nonchalant, a "(unintelligable)" impression."
