Left Page:
"It all leaves an impression of - a little dingy, old, not really cared for. Most of the employees we pass are overweight - do not exude purpose or intelligence. Very different that in passing of the hospitals in San Miguel and Queretaro - where there was vitality, sharpness. And very different than recent impressions of UT Southwestern - where the buildings/facilities/people gave more of an impression of mordernity and professionalism.
So, Gordon wheels me *on the bed) through all this, onto an elevator, where it is just he and I. In the same moment, I look and see a bat tattoo on his wrist as he is saying that he's only been on this job for a month."
Right Page:
"That he got the job thoughno one thought he would. And my flashing thought was - well, I hope I'm not alone here in this elevator with a psycho.
We got to the MRI room without incident, where I get transferred onto a slab that will insert me into the MRI contraption.
But first, a woman with a Carribian accent and piles of braided hair comes + leans on the railing of my bed - her face about 18 inches from mine. Her hands are very dry + chapped looking - probably due to the constant washing from COVID protetions + all the antibacterial goop.
She has a tattood notebook with handwritten notes." - Rights
