Prayer for Birth in Dewachen
EMMA HO
In front, this marvelous and resplendent realm filled with only light, Amitayé, Buddha of Unchanging Light, Lord of Compassion, And His great masses of retinues, Lord of Power! Great masses of Sravakas and Hearers! Surrounding the unparalleled Buddha and Bodhisattvas, In their limitless peace and happiness, is Dewachen. May S/he be born there. May S/he, before long, meet and receive direct directions for birth in Dewachen. May S/he be brought there, after taking worldly rebirth, By the power and blessings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. May S/he not encounter this realm with dreariness. May S/he be protected in all directions and guided along the path. I prostrate to the Buddha. And I pray to You, Guru Rinpoche, You, Great Teacher, Holder, Lineage, and Tenth Guidance. Gracious teachers of the lineage, guide him/her there. May S/he know that as s/he dreams, s/he remains on the path. - Rights
