The Fruit of the Tree by Kabir
No longer am I
The man I used to be;
For God has planted the fruit
Of this tree in me.
As the river flows down the hills,
And becomes one with the sea,
So too this woman's love flowed
And became one with me in love.
Oh deeper and deeper in meditation
To reach the sealed door of my teacher
Through the blessing of my teacher
I have passed beyond the veil of death.
Say, Kabir! Listen to me, friend,
And let me tell you what I have seen.
Make your faith unshakable in the Lord,
And pass beyond the land of death.

They were not prepared! After winter crisis, Texas will have to confront energy, politics and culture.
