The River of Love to Kali
I am a citizen of that kingdom
Where reigns the light of all the glory;
Where the shadows of pleasure cast their shadows
Where the sun of joy never sets.
I am a citizen of that kingdom
Where every day is a day of celebration;
Where every hour is a hour of joy;
And the love blooms in the devotee's heart.
I am a citizen of that kingdom
Where the Lord is the source of light;
And the love that is within me in my heart
To burn without oil, without wick.

Half a million dead, a number almost too large to grasp
A mass-casualty event every day; inside the dark water of
the U.S. nears grim
COVID MILESTONE
500,000 DEATHS
