Joy + I went. Say Gary Busey in line for Law + Order audition.

That part didn't happen. Joe's knee went out + he was in bad pain. Jody said she had arranged for coffee with Donna Tartt, the author. So, two abandonments.
1) I was a shitty friend and left Joe to deal with the injury himself.
2) Jody abandoned me to go meet Donna Tartt.
In my preoccupation with finding a bathroom + with my own pain, I blew Joe off. And I was left with: What was I thinking?"
