Description
The page is part of a scrapbook. On the left side, there is a photograph of a tree with branches and leaves, placed on top of a black background. Overlaid on the photograph are white rectangular strips with black text, quoting Herman Hesse: "Trees are sanctuaries. Whoever knows how to speak to them, whoever knows how to listen to them, can learn the truth." On the right side, there is a handwritten note in cursive, detailing a series of events and observations, including references to a demolition project and specific dates. The handwriting is in black ink, and the page appears aged with some discoloration.

"Trees are sanctuaries. Whoever knows how to speak to them, whoever knows how to listen to them, can learn the truth."
—HERMAN HESSE

6. The crew started their work—inside the house, doing demolition, illegally. As Dallas law states, right demolition—even inside—on a property that will be John Denny must be permitted, including an asbestos inspection. No demolition permit.
7. Demolition on the house did not happen until Monday or Tuesday, and demolition started before ownership of the property.
8. Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Ricky + Dan other guy with a chainsaw.
