But she was absolutely right
in some ways. I know I
looked like hero. I've never
denied or been unhappy about
that. And I did do want
to be called beautiful.
Still, And without diving
into self-congratulatory
confessions, I know that
superficial beauty lasts for
a few golden moments
in time. And the true
beauty in "I want to be
beautiful" has to do
with—"I want all those
invisibles that I am
spirit—contagious grace
grit—generosity—
kindness + be
beautiful."
