My lessons from this trip:
1. Mexico is beautiful. Wish I did better while there.
2. I wanted to see the butterflies but my health prevented it. I ended up staring at the clear blue sky, lying on my back. It was so easy to get tearful, and self-reproaching about my health, my age—all that is lost. But I decided to appreciate what I could do.
3. When faced with a doctor's diagnosis that was potentially life-threatening, I said my man from remained calm. Felt all gratitude for everything.
