Mike Riley, Attentive dreamer.
Answered Aug 30, 2017

Dream images and their meanings are very personal, so the
significance of baby elephants in YOUR dreams is no doubt much
different from what it would be in MY dreams.

If my dream involved a baby elephant, for example, it almost certainly
be about young Republicans and/or the movie Dumbo.

But my guess is that's not what a baby elephant means to you.
A baby elephant suggests imminent power - a potential to be a great
one, a wise one, a powerful one. But, also being at risk, because there
are those in the world who would kill this magnificent creature for
something so trivial as its teeth.

In the West, our ideas about elephants derive from iffy nature films,
zoo visits, circuses, and Walt Disney. Elephants hold a special place
in our iconography: they are wise, they are loyal, they are family-
centered, and they are slow to anger but ferocious when riled. It is also
well known that elephants are among the many species in which the
females are the workers and nurturers while the males are just
hormone-saturated vagabonds. Does any of that ring a bell for you?

Elsewhere in the world, elephants are used as transportation, heavy
equipment, or military assets, and yet also serve as gods. So cultural
background means everything as to what this dream may mean to you.
As always, look within to identify what these dream images MEAN TO
YOU. Remember, though, our dreams are often sneaky - these baby
elephants may be masking the idea of babies in general, or one
particular baby (or potential baby) that you're worried about. Now,
that could eventually be an elephant in your life! See what I mean?

street. She had a baby
elephant with her. The
mother ran on, and then
there were 8 baby elephants
romping and playing with
one another. They were
roly pdy and adorable. Joe
let them come into his
house. His buddies were
helping him corral them.
I thought we should notify
the circus people that
the baby elephants were
loose. I went to the parade,
but couldn't find anyone
