I wrote to Kath Anderson
@ HNL about a bequest
of my journals. It looks
as though it could
happen/will happen. The
response from Love Library
was enthusiastic and very
encouraging.
Kath Anderson spoke
to Dean O'Connor and
Francisco Souto, the chair
of the art department,
who suggested a connection
to Love Library.

And Mr. Graham's response
was immediate and
positive.
I am very happy about
this. It is a hope/dream
come true. As I look back
on the journals, I find
them more often interesting
than painfully personal.
They interest me more
than some of my early works.
So, this is a good step
and very gratifying.
