Handwritten Notes:
The artist photographer Peter B. first captured my eye + imagination in 1972. Corn boot student at tyd. A night out was twenty hours. Chose corns in a bar. Once a month I'd get on a bus. A glide off the corn + wheat fields to visit my parents in my small hometown. Rolling past the corn fields, cattle + pig lists.

"Waking Dream" by Karen Blessen
Article Text:
The Peter Beard exhibit at the Boyd Gallery. I loved it. Loved his work. My mind has been captivated by his things for said – images of him – ever since. I find myself, in the middle of a conversation, talking about him. With elephants, the African plains, trying to imagine an elephant's face. I was so excited to see the first break of finding a wild animal that had been poached. Tears, pain, goopy footprints, and Karen Blessen's face floating past my inner eye. - Rights
