Description
The image shows an open scrapbook with two visible pages filled with various elements. The left page features a vintage, rough-edged design with a collage of cutouts. At the top, there is a blue lion logo. Below, a text-filled cutout reads, “The Library of The General Society of Mechanics & Tradesmen of The City of New York EST. 1820.” Handwritten text on this page discusses roaming between different libraries. The right page, marked as "Picture Collection," has another handwritten note reflecting on the enjoyment of exploration and learning. Below this text is a small photograph of a plaque with the number “877.” The page's bottom corner features the New York Public Library logo and contact information.

This time of roaming from the Grolier Club to the General Society of Mechanics & Tradesmen, then to the NY Public Library then the Morgan Library was pure bliss.
