The image shows an open notebook with two facing pink pages filled with handwritten text. The handwriting is slightly slanted and covers the pages from top to bottom. The left page discusses personal reflections and memories related to a place with a tagline "City of Power & Progress," mentioning details about industry, church-going folks, and family. The right page describes meal times and historical context, referencing Buffalo Bill. There's a number "2" before a question about the discovery of artistic talents. Left Page: still have the tagline "City of Power & Progress." In my perception, even though there was and is a lot of industry in Columbus, it was a town of church going folks, my Mom's Ladies Aid group and everyone knowing everyone else. Columbus has grown quite a lot since then. Mom loved cooking, gardening, & taking care of people. Dad was a WWI Vet and a carpenter by trade. I am truly a product of small town Christian values and a who was perplexed by discrepancy between talk & actions.

Right Page: we had breakfast at 7, dinner at noon, and supper at 6:00 p.m. And we knew we were supposed to eat at that time because the town siren went off and signaled us to sit down & eat together.

OK. That's Question 1. near the confluence of Loup & Platte Rivers. Buffalo Bill liked Columbus & it was the site of the first full dress rehearsal for Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.

When did you first discover that you had artistic talents? In the busy-ness of our household I hardly had a quiet time or place to create.
