45th year of life together. Gretchen sent a stunning Japanese kimono that had belonged to her grandmother, her mother, and now me. I was moved. Last night - Christmas night - we went to Tanime for dinner with Lynda, Gary, Poppy, and Rick. Kelly and I arrived first, and were seated at a nice round table by the hostess - a young woman
