Description
An open journal with two pages filled with handwritten text. The pages are cream-colored with a slightly textured surface, and the handwriting is casual and slightly slanted. On the left page, there are several questions and reflections about personal motivations, feelings, and the role of service. The text on the right page discusses personal capabilities, budget considerations, resource management, and reflections on achievements and impact. The journal is held together with a metal paperclip at the bottom left corner, giving it a functional appearance.

Left Page: What is it about taking on a lot that appeals to me, stimulates me? DNA? Enthusiasm? Still feeling - at 67 - that I have something to prove? Service? True Love for 29 Pieces and the family surrounding it? But then today I wake up with that old familiar feeling - dread and anxiety. Discern. What is just right? What best serves the organization + the mission?

Right Page: What am I capable of? What does the budget allow? How are our resources best used? As I think through all this, I realize how far things have come for me with the organization. I now recognize that this has been my great teacher in Love, along with marriage. I recognize how much we've accomplished, how many lives we've touched, the gift we've given to the city.
